Could you be our next volunteer?
Truro & District Cats Protection Branch is a very busy branch and can always use a little extra help. We are seeking more volunteers to assist us with our work helping cats and kittens in our area.
Could you be that person to help us make a difference?
There are so many ways to assist. Come along to meet some of our volunteers on Saturday 18th November at our Winter Fayre at Kea Community Centre, Playing Place, TR3 6ET for an informal chat.
You do not have to say yes then & there, but do come and speak to Marian who will make a note and send you any further information you require.
This is a great opportunity to meet with existing volunteers and find out more about helping cats in the area. Volunteering for Cats Protection is a rewarding experience because it gives you the opportunity to be part of a truly worthwhile cause. We gain a lot of satisfaction from giving unwanted cats a second chance in life, as well as working with like-minded people.
So if this sounds of interest then please come along and see us!
There are so many ways to get involved from making an extra jar of jam or a cake to sell at the Fayre, to helping with our cat work, admin work to helping in our charity shop and so much more.
Truro Branch is run entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers. We work to promote the wellbeing of cats in our area of Cornwall in the following ways:
- Our volunteers give their time to help homeless cats and kittens by caring for them in purpose built cat pens in their gardens or in specially adapted spare rooms in their homes.
- We seek loving permanent homes for cats that are ready to be homed.
- Our experienced feral volunteers can help with feral cat issues in our area.
- Truro Branch advocates the neutering of cats
